Like stealing candy from a kid

“Great! It’s a shoebox…” she said and threw herself on the bed quite exhausted. The room fitted a bed and something that could be a desk and a closet. She lay there for a while, counting cracks in the ceiling. She thought about being invisible and what you could do with such a power, maybe she’d ask Sierra about it tomorrow. She would also try and find that León guy, she decided. Before she knew it she had fallen asleep with her still unpacked bag on the floor and her shoes still on her feet.

                There’s a low whispering in the dark “Ssh!  Be quiet...”

 “Sorry, I tripped over something.” There’s a scuffling noise next to the bed. “She’s pretty.”

“Can you please just focus; grab her arms I’ll take the legs.” The first voice whispered, sounding quite annoyed. They lifted Danny gently without waking her up, and what happened next would have been an extraordinary sight to anyone not living at the school, as it turns out the few people who saw it were in fact other students at the school. They carried her to the already opened window (this would be the way they came in) and threw her out. But she didn’t fall, she didn’t even wake up. Down on the ground stood a rather big guy with his eyes fixed on Danny and with his arms raised. As he lowered them so was Danny. “I’ve got her, now get out of there.” He said to the others. One of them stepped out and gracefully landed on the ground while the other simply flew. The three of them and with Danny still asleep and afloat started walking down the street. More people joined them, they came from everywhere, one stepped out of a tree another climbed out of a hole in the street, others jumped down from windows and buildings, and some seemed to have been there all along. They were ten in total and all walked in silence down the street until they reached a small building just outside of campus. “Caroline…” Said the guy “holding” Danny and a girl stepped forward and walked right through the wall, moments later a door opened and the rest could now entered the building.

“I think she’s waking up.”
